Martin Stone - Allrounder

Mart Steenbeek was born in a town called Waalwijk in the southpart of The Netherlands. He started his musical hobby at high school and from that moment on he toured with different coverbands as a drummer-lead singer throughout the country. Besides his nine to five job he decided in 1995 to start a solo career as a singer entertainer with the stagename ‘Martin Stone’. This turned out to be a great success.
Martin’s already successful musical career as an independent artist has boosted when he left his regular job in 2010 and started following his passion and went on fulltime with his music career!

With many years of experience as an entertainer Martin knows how to amuse his audience with professional top-entertainment. He has his own warm sound and he sings with passion his own songs and the songs of other great performers like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Robbie Williams, Michael Bubblé, Neil Diamond and also Golden Earring, The Rolling Stones, Beatles, The Tramps, The Commodores, Santana, Eagles, CCR, Queen, Deep Purple, ACDC & many others.

‘The Ratpack in one’

The swinging songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis jr., & other artists are very successful for a large audience in theatres, clubs, restaurants and private & business parties. So apart from the “Rat pack-act” with songs from legends like Frank Sinatra & friends Martin can be booked with his diverge allround-repertoire for (theme) parties in clubs and other locations. Martin can also be booked together with a professional DJ or other artists for a 5 hours show loaded with allround entertainment.

Besides his solo-career Martin is also leadsinger in a rockband called ‘Get-Stas’ and with this band he made it in June 18th 2011 to the Benelux finales of the international band-contest Emergenza.

  • 2004 – 2006 various shows in theatres as a guest singer with the Benny’s Big Show orchestra;
  • 2003     Megacharts quotation with his single CD “You are a mystery” and “When I see her”;
  • 2002     Winner of an international search for talent in Brussels;
  • 2000     Leading man as a husband  in a dutch movie called “Praten” (Talking)
  • 1999     First price of the international song festival  in Malta for the Maltese song;
  • 1998     Megacharts quotation with his own single CD “In the Storm” and “I turn the Stone”;
  • 1990 – 1995      Performed in amateur musicals in theatres (Hair, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, Evita)
